Tom Bartley

Tom's favorite documentary is THE COVE, which follows an elite team of activists and filmmakers as they uncover a dark and deadly secret in a remote cove in Taiji, Japan.

Mr. Bartley is currently Head of Industry at Google, where he focuses on emerging capabilities in digital and eCommerce. 

Prior to working at Google, Mr. Bartley was a marketing executive at Sears Holdings Corporation, where he worked as the Chief Marketing Officer of the $9B Branded Business Unit, including Kenmore, Craftsman and Die Hard brands.  He was later promoted to the role of General Manager of Craftsman Tools, where he ran the entire $2.5B Craftsman brand tool, lawn and garden, and power tool business.

Before working at Sears Holdings, Tom was Vice President of Marketing at ConAgra, Director for Whirlpool, Senior Brand Manager at Kellogg, and Brand Manager at Schering-Plough Healthcare.

In 1993, Mr. Bartley earned his MBA in Marketing and Finance at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
